This is our latest property in the Merrimack Valley.
At the time of this filming, we were two weeks or so from finishing construction.
The seller of this property had to move her mother into assisted living last year. So after a year of trying to figure out what to do with the property, she decided to sell it rather than go through the hassle of fixing it up first. The seller’s friend is a real estate agent and she asked her to help. I’ve done a little bit of work with this agent over the past year or so. So she called me to look at the property.
We made the seller a fair cash offer, and after a quick back and forth, we agreed on a price. It was really a win/win for both of us. We closed very fast. She accepted the offer on a Friday and we closed the following Thursday. It’s always great when somebody has a problem and we offer a solution to the problem.
So let’s take a quick look on the inside. When you walk into the house, this was a front porch before, and all this is going to be opened up. So, once this is all opened up, you’re going to be able to walk in and see this amazing kitchen in here. It’s really going to be spectacular.
If you come in through the kitchen door, it was the same thing. But in here, if you look straight ahead, those were walls on either side, left and right and front. Took that down to open it up so when you walk in you’ll be able to see the whole front living area. In here’s going to be an amazing kitchen. All beautiful cabinets, refrigerator over here in the corner, going to be a window right there. Much more counter space, cabinet space there. It’s going to be a nice little wine island with a wine cooler right in here. There’s a shot of what the cabinets are going to look like.
Up here we have one of those split AC/heater units. That’s going to be an accent wall with some shiplap wood on there. New windows went in the other day, Friday. And over here, television. Clean up that fireplace working. It was a two bed, three bath. We are going to add another bathroom downstairs. And I’ll show you the bathroom, the downstairs real quick. As you can see, it’s all wide open. Be able to see everything. It’s going to be very heat efficient. Everything opened up.
And then downstairs, really, is the money. So, down here, oh my gosh, there was so much stuff that we had to clean out. It was a lifetime of stuff that we got moved out of there. And put in the bathroom. So there’s going to be the downstairs bathroom, tub, and in the back here is going to be the third bedroom. It’s going to be gorgeous when it’s done. Have that nice flooring in here and insulation. It’s just going to be gorgeous.
So we’re really excited about this project. As I said, we’re about two weeks away from finishing construction. And over in the back here is the laundry room. It’s a closet in the back there for them to store stuff. A little bit of storage in the back and over here. Obviously the hot water heater and the heat. So there’s plenty of room, plenty of storage. It’s going to be gorgeous when it’s done. So we’re super excited about it. Like I said, hope to have it on the market by the beginning of November, maybe the first week in November. And onto the next project.
